Local Resident Discount: 10¢ per lb (proof of primary residence on the Peninsula required)
Reusable Bag Discount: 5¢ per lb when you bag your wash-n-fold order in our reusable bags. This discount is applied to any order that includes the purchase of our reusable bags as well.

We determine the final weight of your order after laundering is complete. Many times, laundry can be wet when we receive it, which significantly increases the weight. This is why we only charge based on the final weight of your laundry.
Estimate Weight Prior to Pick-Up
An average family of 4-5 people accumulate about 40-45 lbs of laundry per week. This estimate is usually higher when families are on vacation and laundry includes items like beach towels and swimwear. Here are a couple of methods that you can use to determine a rough estimate of the weight of your laundry order.A bathroom scale is a very quick way to get a close estimate of the weight of your laundry order before setting it out for pick-up. First weigh yourself on the scale and write down the weight. Then weigh yourself on the same scale while holding your laundry order. From the total weight of you and your laundry, subtract your initial weight.
If you do not have access to a scale, there are a couple of ways that you can make a rough estimate of your laundry's weight. A standard tall kitchen trash bag (13 gallon capacity) filled without packing down weighs roughly 15 lbs. An outdoor trash bag (30 gallon capacity) filled in the same manner weighs roughly 35 lbs, while a standard laundry basket that is filled to the top but not heaping weighs roughly 10 lbs.
There are many variables that impact your laundry's actual weight versus the rough estimate methods, including the types of clothes or linens, the materials they're made out of, and how tightly the items are woven. However, these methods can help give you an idea of the approximate weight of your laundry before we arrive to pick up your order.

On the day of your scheduled pick-up, one of our drivers will arrive at the address on your order to collect your laundry.
Please have your laundry ready in a bag of your choice (laundry bags, grocery bags, mesh bags, etc.), outside in an easily accessible location. Separately bag and label any stained items, and include information on source of stain(s), if known. If any items have special wash instructions, bag those separately and include specific wash instructions. We are not able to read individual label washing instructions.
Make sure to double check your pockets! We are NOT responsible for items lost in the wash or damaged by things left in pockets (chapstick, crayons, markers, pens, lipstick, gum, etc.).
Once your order has finished laundering and been weighed, you'll receive a text message updating your order status with a link to your order invoice. As soon as your invoice has been closed out, your order will be loaded on a delivery vehicle for your scheduled delivery.
On your delivery day, one of our drivers will return your fresh and clean laundry order to the same location it was picked up from. You will receive a text message to notify you that your order has been delivered. -
Of course! Light stain treatment is included in our wash-n-fold rates for up to 3 small stains per item. We will also treat heavily stained items at a rate of $2 per small item and $6 per large item. Simply place any stained items in a separate bag and include a note in the bag and we’ll do our best to get those stains out for you. It is very useful for us to know the exact source of each stain, if you know, since the best treatment will vary by the type of stain and the fabric type. While we are proud of our high success rate at removing stains, we can’t guarantee we’ll be able to get every stain out. If you are able to pretreat stains before putting the item in the bag, it will increase the likelihood of successful stain removal.

We wash all items under our standard laundry protocol, unless we receive specific wash instructions with an order. Your order will be separated into lights and darks, each washed in cool-warm water on Regular cycle using a free-and-clear detergent. Loads are then dried on medium-low heat with lightly scented dryer sheets. Additional wash products such as bleach (white loads only), laundry sanitizer (color safe for all loads), and/or OxiClean (color safe for all loads) can be added by request on your order form.

Our standard protocol includes free-and-clear detergent in the wash cycle and lightly scented dryer sheets in the dry cycle. If you prefer any specific detergents, stain-boosters, scent beads, fabric softeners, dryer sheets, or dryer balls, you're welcome to send those items in with your laundry order and we will gladly wash and dry your laundry with your preferred products at no additional cost. All remaining unused products will be returned in your delivery bag(s).

No need to separate any of your laundry, other than bagging your stained items separately and bagging any items with special wash instructions separately. We'll take care of everything else!

We do not check pockets. It's very important that you double check any pockets before placing your laundry in the bags for pick-up! We are not responsible for items lost in the wash or damaged by things left in pockets (chapstick, crayons, markers, pens, lipstick, gum, etc.).

There are 2 ways to get your special wash instructions to us
Include the special wash instructions on a note inside the separated bag of special-wash items. This is the best way to ensure we receive the information and apply it to the correct items in your order.

No, we launder machine washable items only

We wash a wide variety of standard household laundry, from sheets and rugs to personal clothing and towels. We also wash oversized items in our double- and triple-load washers, like comforters, quilts, blankets, and sleeping bags. We will launder most machine-washable items, with the following exclusions:
dry-clean only items
pillows
curtains
hats
shoes
coats
purses/handbags
special occasion dresses/suits
costumes
vintage clothing
fur or feather clothing
pet beds
horse blankets
items containing excessive bodily fluids or pet hair
items contaminated with hazardous chemicals, tar, mold or mildew
items containing pests such as bedbugs, cockroaches, fleas, ants, etc.

Any non-laundry or excluded items from the list above found during processing will be bagged separately for return delivery, and not weighed with your laundered items.

Your pick-up/drop-off location should be a safe and secure space where you feel comfortable leaving your personal items. While this is different for everyone, customers often leave their orders under their homes near the garage entrance, on a picnic table, on/behind a Tiki Bar, under the stairs, in a deck or lounge chair, near the front door, on the deck, or inside a secure, gated area. The pick-up request form includes a place to upload a photo of your laundry order in the pick-up location to help our drivers quickly locate the correct bags to be collected. Please note that if your pick-up location is in an area that is not accessible and we have not been given a working code or access to a keybox, we will send a text message notifying you that we will need to reschedule your pick-up.

Hey, we get it! These things happen. We will do our best to help remind you of your upcoming pick-up, but life can sometimes get in the way.
If we arrive and aren't able to pick-up your order, we'll notify you via text message right away. If you know you forgot to put your order out before we've arrived and notify you, you're welcome to send us a text message to let us know. We will gladly reschedule your pick-up for the following business day. If you need your laundry order picked up on the same business day as originally scheduled, we can add it on to a different route for with a missed pick-up fee of just $10.

As soon as your laundry order is complete and we've determined the final weight, we'll send you a text message updating the status of your order along with a link to your invoice. You can pay your invoice directly from the link provided. We also accept cash payment if you’re picking up your order from our facility.
